We are a full-service canine boarding facility, specializing in breeding and selling working German Shepherd dogs. Barkerhaus is the oldest operational kennel in El Paso. Built in 1935 by Mr. & Mrs. Stephen A Barker. It is a 2 acre kennel with 60 runs a large exercise yard and large training field. Angie & Jim Morgan have owned the business since 1987.
We breed German Shepherds for family, protection, search and rescue, Schutzhund, Police and Detection. Our goal is to build a better Shepherd, but our practice is to love and care for your dogs while your away from home.

We have 5 drug detector dogs for sale. They are 24 months old. Trained in passive alert, independent thinkers. They work on and off leash 3 solid black and two black/tan. Mother and father both detector dogs. four males and one female. Excellent candidates for Police or Private Security. NNDDA Ceritification included
